Cedar Consulting Announces Its Indian Development Centre. Cedar Consulting, the leading supplier of PeopleSoft consulting services across Europe, has today announced the formation of its Indian Development Centre, based in Pune. This new business is wholly owned by Cedar Consulting and will work exclusively for Cedar Consulting clients. This move represents a logical extension to Cedar Consulting’s current services provision, which is expert on-site consultancy. The provision of a lower cost development centre will allow clients to make use of these services, under the full management of Cedar Consulting. Simon Wragg, Director, added "this development will be particularly interesting to those clients who want to balance expert on-site PeopleSoft implementation or upgrade services with some lower cost resources. We already have some major project work for the Indian business, and will expand this as our clients demand".
Cedar Consulting provides PeopleSoft services to clients across Europe from two principal locations in the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

Cedar Consulting Commences WIPO’s v8.9 Financials Upgrade. Following the award of the contract to upgrade WIPO’s v8.4 PeopleSoft Financials System to v8.9, Cedar Consulting has now commenced this high-profile project. Having been the Systems Integrator for the original implementation, Cedar Consulting is very much looking forward to continuing to work with WIPO, one of the specialist United Nations Agencies. The system is complex, with a large number of interfaces, across the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Billing modules. The project will be completed using a combination of Cedar Consulting’s specialist lead Functional and Technical resources, on-site in Geneva, supported by Cedar’s Indian Development Centre, who will complete almost half of the work. The project is due to Go Live in Q3 2007.
